Educational & Informational Activities at MCC - for all January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008 1. Qur’anic Study sessions: a. Every Sunday – 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon by Imam Mohamed Abdullah (in English - Main Hall) b. Every Sunday – Between Mahgrib & Isha or 7:45 to 8:45 PM by Maulana Mateen (in Urdu – Masjid) c. Every Friday Between Mahgrib & Isha or 7:45 to 8:45 PM by Br. Mohammad Saleem (in English - Masjid) 2. Qur’anic Recitation and Tajweed Classes: a. Days Friday, Saturday, and Sunday b. Duration 1 to 1.5 hr/day, 5 hrs/wk for Children (girls & boys. Time: Friday: 6:15 to 7:15 PM, Saturday: 11:30 AM to 1 PM, and Sunday: 2:00 to 3:30 PM - before and after Ramadan. (Note: Due to changing Prayer Timings, class time will be adjusted by the teachers with consultation of parents and class participants) c. Tuition Fee $50.00 per student - reduced for second and additional members of immediate family (paid within first five days of the month). d. Experts in various fields are invited who speak on the topics of community interests. (Check MCCNEWS for the current weeks topic} Two Friday Prayers Effective immediately, MCC will hold two Friday congregations. The first salah will start at 1:00 PM and second at 2:00 PM. Please do not park in "No Parking" zones. Thank you for your cooperation.

Maulana Mateen, a well known Islamic scholar who in the past has given lectures at MCC Masjid on various topics will begin his program. This will take place on the FIRST THREE Sundays of every month, beginning April 2008. The lectures will be in Urdu Language between Mughrib and Isha' prayers, and the translation would be available. All families are encouraged to attend and will benefit from this program, Insha-Allah.

BOD Meetings:

The current (expected) day and time for the BOD meetings is the Third Firday of every month. It takes place after Mughrib or Isha' based on seasonal time change. These meetings can be attended by members of MCC. For finding exact date and time please e-mail kkarimullah@yahoo.com a few days before the expected day.
 

MCC's QURAN Recitation and Memorization Classes are on-going. These classes are for children 12 YEARs old or younger and will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday of every week. Timings will be Friday: 6:15 - 7:15 pm, Saturday: 11:30 AM - 1 pm, and Sunday: 2:00 - 3:30 PM. Nominal monthly fee is required. Registration will take place at 6:00 pm on same days as the classes.
