Don’t stop your child’s Islamic education at the end of Sunday school bring them to Camp QIYAM!

Join us at MCC to build upstanding Muslim characters in our children through learning and living the Qur’an and Hadith in a fun, relaxed and hands-on atmosphere.

WHEN: June 20 – July 29, 2011 (6 weeks)

Full-day program: 8:45am – 3:30pm

AGES: 5-13 years – For students 14 and up please inquire about our volunteer C.I.T (counselor in training) positions.

ACTIVITIES: Qur’an Memorization, Islamic studies, Field Trips and fun days, Arts, Math, Science, Reading clubs, Sports, Games and much more fun!!

FEES:

$100/week per child + $50 one time only activity fee

$550 for six weeks ($50 activity fee waived)

Sibiling discount is 20% for second or more child.

After care is also available from 3:30pm – 6:00pm at $20 a week per child.

Protect the progress your children have made in the Sunday School over the summer! Want them to move ahead? Look no further!

Introducing an intensive Qur’an Arabic program. For two hours a day, five days a week, in addition to reading and memorizing Qur’an, they can:

-Polish-up and improve the pronunciation of each letter (Qaeda)

-Improve Qur’a'n reading and take it to the NEXT level.

-Have the most fun in learning some of the most important lessons in Juz’ 30.

An initial assessment of your child’s level by our experienced instructor will determine their individual goals to achieve in the program. This is NOT just a hifdh program, all levels are welcome. Join us for one week or all six, your child will progress, insha’Allah.

When: June 20-July 29, 2011

From: 9:30-11:30 am Monday-Friday

Ages: 5 and up

Fees: $50 Weekly or $240 for all six weeks

*10% sibling discount is available.

Aftercare is NOT available for this program.

Qur’an Arabic Instructor Bio

Brother Muhammad (Roma) Elhabashy is a native Arabic speaker with a strong command of the English language. He began teaching youth Arabic and Quraan in 1995 at ICCL. He is devoted to not only teaching the correct pronunciation of the Qur’an to youth, but in creating a connection to the meaning of the Quraan that they can instill in their lives. Among his credentials are certification from the University of Madina at IIASA, and an IJAZA from Dr. Muhammad Musa Nasr, Quraan science teacher; Sheikh Osama Alqoosi, teacher of Creed; and Sheikh Salim Alhilaly, teacher of Hadeeth.

His past related work includes: creating a Qur’anic Arabic curriculum for an Islamic School co-operative in California, teaching Qur’an at Al Huda School in College Park, MD, and conducting private on-site and online classes. Currently, he is presenting a weekly halaqa translation of the book Minhaj-ul-Muslim at Dar Al Taqwa in Ellicott City, Maryland.

Brother Muhammad is owner and broker of The BlackStone Real Estate, LLC, and is currently earning his masters degree in Real Estate Development. He lives in Ellicott CIty, Maryland with his wife and three children, Maryam, Hamzah and Munthir.
