Zakat
ZAKAT OR SADAQAH
To apply for Zakat or Sadaqah from the Muslim Community Center, please complete and submit the application.
Please note the following regarding Zakat and Sadaqah applications:
- Applications are collected on Mondays
- Applications may take up 15 business days to be processed
- Applications MUST be filled out ENTIRELY and COMPLETELY
- A government issued identification card must be provided with both a picture and home address
- MCC only accepts applications from Maryland and DC residents
- If your application is approved, a check will be mailed to the address you provided
- If you anticipate a change in address during the process, please make note of it in the comments section

- To apply for Zakat and Sadaqah, please fill this APPLICATION FORM and submit it in the MCC office or email it to zakat@mccmd.org
- Zakat-ul-Fitr form is available by clicking here. Approved applicants can pick up their checks on April 6th and April 7th, 2024, from 10 AM until Dhuhr (1:30 PM)
Both Zakat and Sadaqah can be donated HERE or by mailing to the MCC at at 15200 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring MD 20905.
