Daylight Savings Time is this Sunday, March 10 at 2:00a.m. Adjust your clocks 1 hour forward the night before on March 9, to ensure timely arrival to classes the next day.

SUNDAY SCHOOL FIRE DRILL

The fire drill went very smoothly, I would like to thank parents for their cooperation in making this exercise successful. The entire school was evacuated in one minute, Alhumdulilah.

InshaAllah, on March 24 the Quran competition will be held. Three students from each class have been selected to compete. “Q” level classes will compete during first period and “T” level classes will compete during second period after lunch. There will be no Islamic studies class on this day.

Parents are welcome to spectate.

MASJID EXPANSION GROUNDBREAKING CELEBRATION

By the grace of Allah, a groundbreaking celebration is being held on March 24 at 11:00 a.m., to mark the beginning of the Masjid expansion construction. InshaAllah, we will be blessed with five new classrooms, in addition to ADA compliant wudoo facilities and an extended Sister’s prayer area. Please join community members, students and teachers dig and break ground to celebrate this momentous occasion. Lunch will also be served.

MCC Tutoring

MCC is offering tutoring services in high school level math, English, science and history. If you are looking for a tutor or willing to tutor, please send an email to tutoring@mccmd.org to get started. Meeting times and dates will be coordinated between parent and tutor. This service is free to the community.
