Seniors Nutrition Program Survey

The Muslim Community Center ( MCC) is pleased to offer a Montgomery County funded Nutrition program for persons age 60 and over. Younger spouses as well as younger disabled persons are eligible for lunch as well.
The Program activities which start in October 2009 will be held at:

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

All persons 60 and over and their spouses, and persons with disabilities enjoy a delicious and nutritious lunch (for a small contribution). Spouses and disabled are not subject to age limit. Families of seniors can attend this event and have fun with the weekly planned activities which include:

- Recreational, social, educational, and health promotion activities
- Replenish yourself with spiritual lectures from scholars
- Learn from the experts about the resources available in the areas  of Health, Housing, and Income Security
- Get assistance is accessing your social security benefits, including: SSI, Medicaid,  Food stamps
- Get free legal aid, tax aid, discounted car insurance, and other benefits including: low income housing, and transportation assistance.
